Sam Mansfield started down the path of computer related inquiry and research from his desire to understand how a computer actually works. Sam has had various interests throughout his life from studying classical violin for two years at university, becoming a professional tea bartender, and being able to defend himself by practicing martial arts. Many of these interests and new interests such as roasting coffee and learning about optimum health still persist today. Sam’s current main focus is on his PhD, which is a system design to prevent pressure injuries (a.k.a. bed sores), which are horrible potentially deadly open wounds that should never occur in healthcare, but still do.
