What it’s like to go to a TED conference…

What do you get when you take heads of state, leading tech entrepreneurs, cutting-edge scientists, visionary artists, and tireless social activists, and you put them all together for a 4-day conference? The answer is a TED conference, and the one I just went to changed my life. This is an event where ideas are KING — I even started calling it the ‘Idea Olympics’ because of the incredible diversity of difference makers this conference draws, from all corners of the globe. Here, your background, religion, race, ethnicity, or education level do NOT matter — what matters is your IDEAS. To say that this was a surreal environment would be an understatement. I’m humbled to have been a part of it.
