Thai Coral Reef Expedition: Packing Chaos

Packing for a summer of intense field research, underwater, is never easy, especially when you’re doing it at your mom’s house.

Heather and I are just about set to go on an epic journey to the other side of the planet, with the intention of using science to unlock mysteries about the coral reefs of Thailand. We’ll be living in a remote area on an island, so packing the right stuff is not just useful, it’s essential to the success of the project!
