Misconception: Science

is Boring

Saying ‘science is boring’ is like saying ‘baby pandas aren’t cute’. It is utter NONSENSE.

After over 10 years in the science game, I can tell you that ‘science’ is very misunderstood. I don’t blame people; frankly, I thought science was insanely boring growing up – who cares about all these facts?! It wasn’t until I started doing science, as my career that I discovered all of the unbelievable benefits, to me and society, this process provides. In a nutshell: science is an incredible rollercoaster, and being a scientist (a marine biologist, particular) has been the greatest ride of my life. Share this video with someone who is interested in science, or, better yet, someone who thinks they hate science ;).
