Misconception: Marine Biologists All Study Whales & Dolphins

,

Whales and dolphins? Amazing! Playing with them all day? Sadly, not part of my job description…

Whales and dolphins are, no doubt, vital components of marine ecosystems – and well worth studying. But it takes a lot more than cetaceans for an ecosystem to thrive, which is why we’ve got to study sooo much more!
