Coral Reef Expedition: Thailand (and you’re invited!)

We’re venturing to the other side of the planet to discover new secrets about coral reefs. Want to join?

An amazing thing about doing science for a living is that if you can convince important people that you have cool and useful ideas, you can get funding to make those ideas a reality. Fortunately, this recently happened to me when I was awarded funding to support 2 years of research on coral reefs and how reef fish communication may protect coral reefs from degradation. So my partner Heather and I are about to set off on an expedition to Thailand to get some field experiments going. Neither of us have worked there before, so it should be an unpredictable adventure. Subscribe, and come along for the ride!
