Confessions of a Marine

Biologist: Eight-Legged Kidnapper

What it looks like to be kidnapped by an octopus…then rescued by a scientist.

Marine biologists arrive at their field site at dusk to pick up a series of video cameras, used to monitor an experiment looking stressors affecting corals. What they find is a missing camera and an unexpected culprit. Can they rescue the HERO before he is plunged into darkness forever? (I guess I gave this away above…pretend I didn’t).

The music was created by my brother, Danny Gil, and his awesome band Downfall 2012:http://SciAll.org/art-and-science/Dow…

Special thanks for the epic comic book-style animations to fellow marine biologist Julie Zill.
